Job summary

Potato Corner is seeking a Budget and Planning Officer to monitor store performance, input monthly sales targets and expenses within the budget, and support the company's financial controls across both company-owned and franchise stores.

The ideal candidate has a finance or accounting degree, strong Excel/Word skills, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and outstanding organizational and multi-tasking abilities to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in the related field.
• Must be highly organized with keen attention to details.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all stores’ performance.
• Input Monthly Sales Target and Expenses Report within the budget and track store performance.
• Handle operations financial concerns.
• Validate all payment requests included in the budget.
• Analyze monthly budgeting and accounting reports to control expenditures.
• Compile and analyze accounting records to determine company financials.
• Coordinate with departments about expenses.
• Create templates for budget and financial reports.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Budget and Planning Manager.

1. Responsible for monitoring all stores’ performance.
2. Provide and inputs Monthly Sales Target, Expenses Report within the budget, Performances, Monthly of Company Owned and Franchise Stores.
3. Handles operations financial concerns.
4. Validates all request for payments included in the budget.
5. Analyzes monthly budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditures controls.
6. Compiles and analyzes accounting records and other data to determine the entire company financials.
7. Coordinates with different departments about the expenses.
8. Create templates for the needed budget and financial reports.
9. Other tasks assigned by the Budget and Planning Manager.

Qualifications:

1. Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree (Finance/Accounting or any course related).
2. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel and Word.
3. At least 1-year professional experience in the related field.
