Job summary

Pilmico (an Aboitiz company) is seeking a hybrid-leadership professional to set up and manage a broiler breeder research farm, drive breeder performance, and support the commercial feed business with field advisory and veterinary training.

You will oversee farm operations, data-driven performance, and implement fertility/hatchability improvements while mentoring staff and coordinating technical initiatives across national scope. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine is required.

Qualifications

• DVM degree required and registered.
• 5–10+ years in broiler breeder operations.
• Experience in breeder flock management, veterinary health programs, and hatchability optimization.
• Experience in technical advisory or field support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project establishment and oversight of broiler breeder operations.
• Farm operations management and performance oversight.
• Lead production performance evaluation and data collection.
• Lead feed trial and research initiatives.
• Provide veterinary oversight and biosecurity management.
• Staff leadership, development and coaching.
• Data management and reporting to stakeholders.
• Provide external technical support and field advisory for the feed business.
• Customer technical advisory and field engagement (national scope).
• Deliver training and capability building; provide technical feedback to enable business growth.

Job Description

This is a hybrid leadership role combining farm operations, veterinary oversight, research execution, and external technical support. The role involves setting up and managing a broiler breeder research farm while ensuring strong breeder performance and high-quality hatching eggs. It also includes leading feed trials and producing reliable performance data, serving as the company’s technical expert in broiler breeder production, and supporting the commercial feed business through field advisory, customer engagement, and veterinary training.

Education:
