Job summary

The Fortune General Insurance Corporation is seeking a Branch Claims Analyst to process claims by receiving client information and entering data into the claims system. The role involves evaluating claims, coordinating with adjusters, maintaining files, and generating in-house reports while keeping up to date with product knowledge to support accurate liability determinations.

• Checks documents received from claimant or intermediary and ensure their correctness.
• Encodes all reported claims in the GENWEB and set up the loss reserve.
• Evaluate each claim and make necessary recommendation.
• Assigns the claim to an independent adjuster if needed.
• Communicates with adjusters, claimants, the insured and other parties to determine liability and coverage.
• Prepares in house reports and computes probable liability if compensable.
• Attend to inquiries pertaining to the account/s he is handling and provide information as necessary.
• Maintains proper files for claims by collecting and organizing relevant documents and set up new claims using the company system.
• Keep up to date with insurance product knowledge .
• Develop plans for investigation of claims and gather all necessary documents and information.
• Perform other functions as maybe necessary to achieve the fulfillment of assigned task .
