The Accounting Assistant will assist the Calamba branch in control and compliance tasks, ensuring accurate batching, balancing, and processing of financial documents in line with Bank standards. The role requires a relevant Bachelor’s degree with accounting units and strong numerical and detail-oriented skills, with on-site work in Calamba, Laguna.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job (Accounting/Business) with 18 units in accounting is preferred.
• Experience in branch banking accounting operations and GL reconciliation is an advantage but fresh graduates may apply.
• Strong numerical, problem-solving and detailed-oriented skills; proficient in computers and business applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform batching and balancing of reports against posting media and source documents per approved processes.
• Support vouching of CASA, TD, GL tickets, and other transaction slips.
• Prepare and maintain processing of outward checks and GL entries, review GL reports as needed.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
