Job summary

The Boxing Content Editor will cover local and international boxing news, fights, rankings, previews, results, and features.

Responsibilities include writing boxing news, fight reports, previews, analysis, and features; monitoring major promotions and events; covering Filipino boxers and top international fighters; providing timely fight-night updates; verifying records and statistics; developing content for the Alta Sports app and social platforms; coordinating with video and social teams.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of sports writing/editing experience.
• Strong knowledge of boxing.
• Familiarity with boxing rankings, records, classes, and terminology.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Ability to work during late-night/early-morning fight schedules when required.
