A growing finance team at a leading company is seeking a Bookkeeping Manager who is experienced in financial reporting and audit processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial closing, external audits, and supporting the Finance Department's efficiency. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders while reporting daily in the San Juan, Manila office.

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years as Financial Reporting or GL Manager.
  • In-depth understanding of IFRS and GAAP.
  • Experience handling audits and tax knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Handle Treasury functions and ensure audit compliance.

Job description

Sarisuki is looking for an experienced BookkeepingManager who work cohesively and harmoniously with Finance leaders and other leaders in the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the month-end and year-end closing and ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the financial information
  • Responsible for financial statement preparation and analysis
  • In charge of the financial/external audit, ensure timeliness of the audit procedure and ensure no audit findings
  • Responsible for presentation of audit findings to the senior leaders and provide recommendation resolution on the audit findings, if there are any
  • Handle the Treasury functions, such as bank reconciliation and other related functions
  • Present Finance updates in Mancomm meetings or other leadership meetings, when required
  • Assist Head of Finance in ensuring the efficiency and effective of the Finance Department
  • Ad-hoc tasks as might be asked to do by the head of the department and/or management team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting courses
  • At least 4 years as Financial Reporting or GL Manager
  • In dept understanding of IFRS and GAAP
  • Experience in handling audit is required
  • Tax knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Technologically adept and has familiarity with any Accounting platform or system, either commercial or proprietary, but experience with Quickbooks is preferred
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools is a plus
  • Experience in a start-up company is preferred
  • Excellent stakeholder management, organizational, time management and communication skills
  • Analytical and able to connect dots on a bigger scale
  • Willing to report daily in San Juan, Manila office
