Job summary

Toyota Iligan City is seeking a Body Technician to repair and restore vehicle bodies to Toyota’s quality and safety standards. You will inspect damage, perform dent removal, panel and structural repairs, and prepare surfaces for painting.

You will work with tools, fabricate sheet metal, apply primers and paints, and conduct quality checks to ensure flawless finishes. Collaboration with service teams and attention to safety are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of body damage
• Document findings and provide accurate estimates for repair work
• Perform a variety of auto body repair tasks, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural repairs
• Use appropriate tools and equipment to ensure high-quality repairs
• Fabricate and repair sheet metal components to restore the original shape and structure of the vehicle
• Ensure precision and accuracy in sheet metal work
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and masking
• Ensure proper adhesion of paint by creating a smooth and clean surface
• Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat to achieve an even and flawless paint finish
• Match paint colors accurately to the vehicle's original color
• Perform quality control checks on completed repairs to ensure they meet Toyota's standards
• Address any issues or imperfections to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing repair and painting tasks
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain accurate records of repair work, including parts used, labor hours, and any additional notes
• Provide documentation for insurance claims as needed
