Job summary

Toyota Silang Cavite Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a reliable paint finishing technician to perform sanding and buffing to remove imperfections from painted surfaces and to assist in maintaining high Toyota quality standards.

The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team. You will inspect painted areas, rework as necessary, ensure use of PPE, follow 5S and safety rules, and support a smooth workflow with paint technicians.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexible to work overtime during busy periods if required.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge in the usage of sanding and buffing tools to remove imperfections from painted surfaces.
• Inspect painted areas for quality and rework any areas as necessary to meet Toyota quality standards.
• Maintain machines and equipment issued, use of correct PPE, and observe safety precautions at all times.
• Develop and practice a Kaizen/Constant Improvement attitude.
• Coordinate with paint technicians to ensure a smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Ensures compliance with the standard operating procedures and safety rules (5S) in the performance of assigned tasks.
• Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
