Job summary

Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. is seeking a Failure Analysis Technician at our Cavite site to identify root causes of product failures and support continuous improvement across manufacturing and engineering.

You will analyze malfunctions, evaluate test results, and document findings while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions. Experience in electronics manufacturing and power electronics is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in failure analysis or related technical role.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing.
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles, product design fundamentals, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, programmable AC/DC power supplies, multimeters, electronic loads, power analyzers, and logic analyzers.
  • Strong knowledge of power electronics, including converter topologies, AC/DC circuits, and magnetics.
  • Experience in component-level testing and isolation procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics accurately.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Job Summary
