Job summary

CBRE Philippines is seeking a BMS Engineer to operate, monitor, and optimize Building Management Systems across client facilities in General Trias, Cavite. You will ensure HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems run efficiently and safely.

You will analyze performance data, respond to alarms, support preventive maintenance, and collaborate with facilities and engineering teams to improve reliability and energy efficiency. Light travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical certification in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics or related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant facilities/building management experience.
• Amenable for 6 days, shifting schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure optimal performance of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and related building systems.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain BMS controllers, field devices, sensors, actuators, and communication networks.
• Monitor and respond to system alarms, equipment faults, and operational abnormalities through the BMS platform.
• Analyze system trends, performance data, and energy consumption to identify efficiency improvements and reduce operating costs.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for building automation and control systems.
• Maintain and update BMS graphics, control sequences, point databases, and system documentation.
• Conduct routine inspections and health checks of integrated systems including HVAC, chilled water systems, pumps, generators, and other critical infrastructure.
• Support commissioning, testing, and integration of new building systems and automation projects.
• Collaborate with facilities, operations, and engineering teams to resolve system performance issues and improve reliability.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, building codes, client requirements, and company policies.
• Generate operational, performance, and energy reports for management and clients.
• Lead root cause analysis activities for system failures and recommend long-term solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to technicians and site engineering teams.
• Promote and demonstrate behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.

What You'll Need
