Job summary

METRO NORTH MEDICAL CENTER AND HOSPITAL, INC. is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for ensuring the reliability of medical equipment across departments in Quezon City. The role involves preventive maintenance, calibration, and compliance with safety standards.

The technician will install, configure, and commission new devices, maintain records, assist end-users, and provide on-call support for urgent issues, contributing to uninterrupted patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and necessary repairs of medical equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Conduct regular calibration and testing to ensure accuracy and proper performance of medical devices.
• Ensure that all equipment complies with applicable safety standards, regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and commissioning of new medical equipment, including orientation and training of end-users when necessary.
• Monitor and maintain records of medical equipment, tools and spare parts to ensure availability and proper assess control.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of maintenance, activities, repairs, inspections, and calibration reports.
• Coordinate with hospital departments and clinical staff to address equipment-related concerns and recommend process improvements.
• Provide on-call technician support in the event of critical equipment malfunctions or urgent operational requirements.
• Performs other related duties which may be assigned from time to time.
