Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of medical equipment.
• Calibration and Testing: Perform calibration and testing of medical devices to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with medical equipment and respond to malfunctions.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain thorough records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Training and Support: Train healthcare staff on use and maintenance of equipment.
• Presentation: Demonstrate product knowledge to clients.
• Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned.

As a Biomedical Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards. You will play a critical role in supporting healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care through the effective management of medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance:
  Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of medical equipment. Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to resolve technical issues and ensure equipment functionality.

• Calibration and Testing:
  Perform calibration and testing of medical devices to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain detailed records of calibration activities and equipment status.

• Troubleshooting:
  Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with medical equipment, utilizing problem-solving skills to identify and implement effective solutions. Provide timely response to equipment malfunctions and emergencies.

• Documentation and Compliance:
  Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.

• Training and Support:
  Provide training and support to healthcare staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment. Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends through continuous education.

• Presentation:
  Product knowledge and demonstration to clients.
  

• Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned.

Qualification

• Degree or certification in Biomedical Technology, Engineering in Electronics, Bioengineering/Biomedical, Instrumentation or a related field

• Preferably at least 3 years’ experience in same field.

• Professional Driver’s License in a MUST.

• Proven experience as a Biomedical Technician, preferably in a healthcare setting.

• Strong understanding of medical equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.

14 Egea Street, Cubao, Quezon City 1111
Work Schedule:
Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and
Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
