Job summary

Variance Trading Corporation in Quezon City is seeking a Biomedical Engineer to support the deployment, operation, and preventive maintenance of medical equipment across clinical settings.

You will advise on equipment use, train staff, participate in trials, and stay abreast of new developments while working on-site with healthcare teams to ensure safety and reliability. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunities for growth and impact on patient care.

Qualifications

• College degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and/or Computer Engineering.
• 6–12 months of experience as Biomedical Engineer.
• PRC License is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Advise and assist in the application of medical equipment in clinical environments.
• Maintain, repair, or provide technical support for biomedical equipment.
• Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
• Arrange clinical trials of medical products.
• Train clinicians and other personnel on the proper use of equipment.
• Keep up to date with new developments in the field, nationally and internationally.
• Good problem-solving skills in providing technical support in equipment.
• Knowledge in computer applications and basic electronics.
• Familiar with medical/hospital equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

- Candidate must possess a College Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and/or Computer Engineering

- With at least 6 months to 1 year of experience as Biomedical Engineer

- PRC License is an advantage but not required

- Must be willing to work on-field
