BW Water seeks a BIM Engineer to design and document water treatment facilities using AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, and related tools. The role focuses on creating GA, isometrics, P&ID, and BOMs, while maintaining BIM standards and project documentation.
Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in BIM/CAD, strong drawing skills, and knowledge of BIM Execution Plans. Plant 3D knowledge is a plus; travel to project sites may be required.

We are seeking a BIM Engineer with expertise in AutoCAD 2D/3D and Autodesk Revit. The role includes creating and maintaining BIM models, producing technical drawings, guiding teams on BIM standards, managing timelines. Strong knowledge of BIM workflows and practical experience in Revit are essential.
Degree or diploma in engineering/construction management or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
Extensive knowledge and experience in BIM/CAD
Excellent technical drawing skills
Strong communication and project management skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks
Knowledge in BIM Execution Plan
Knowledge in Plant 3D is added advantage.
Good interpersonal and presentation skills
Strong creative and visualization skills
Able to perform independently and support the BIM team
BIM Modelling certification will be added advantage.
Good experience in water and wastewater treatment will be added advantage.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Prepare mechanical and structural design drawings during basic and detailed engineering phases using AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, Advance Steel, and/or Inventor.
Create and update:
Maintain standard file structures in AutoCAD Plant 3D and Revit project environments.
Manage catalogues for equipment, valves, instruments, and structural components.
Customize components and adopt project-specific specifications across AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, and/or Advance Steel.
Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for plant and structural design projects.
Ensure all tasks comply with QMS requirements and Group quality directives.
Suggest improvements to design workflows and quality processes.
Work closely with process engineering, fabrication, and project teams to ensure competitive and precise designs.
Collaborate via BIM platforms such as BIM360.
Train and support new users on AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, Advance Steel, and/or Inventor.
Maintain effective communication across all relevant disciplines.
Assist with detailed drawings during bidding and project phases.
Attend client meetings as required.
Conduct site surveys for data collection and verification.
Maintain organized filing systems for electronic and hard copy documents.
Travel to project sites for short-term assignments as required.
