Job summary

Arcadis is a global design, engineering and consultancy firm seeking an Accounts Receivable Billing Analyst. You will handle project maintenance, invoicing, reporting and analysis, supporting Project Managers and stakeholders.

Key duties include setting up projects, forecasting, serial invoicing, and ensuring revenue recognition are accurate. Strong English communication and ERP experience are essential for success in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• More than 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Exposure in Shared Service or multinational environment is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP Systems is preferred; (Oracle, SAP & Microsoft Dynamics).
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Results oriented; proactive and a committed team player.
• Can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; flexible hours.
• Experience working with and managing contracts preferred; billing experience.

Responsibilities

• Setting up Projects in line with Project Managers requirements.
• Reforecasting projects in line with Project Managers requirements.
• Ensuring billing is completed as per Project Managers instructions.
• Includes Fixed Price invoicing and Time & Materials Invoicing.
• Monitor and manage invoices for assigned workload on the Invoice Status report.
• Attach final invoice packages on the accounts receivable line in Oracle.
• Verify receipt of contracts in CLS and classify status as interim or final.
• Interface with Cash Receipts and Accounts Payable departments.
• Monitor validation reports for project set up issues and adjust weekly.
• Carrying out inter-project time and expense transfers.
• Setting up variations.
• Checking revenue recognition (POC%, cost, revenues, WIP, backlog).
• Interpret and clarify project results, deviations, causes and actions.
• Monitor work in progress & unbilled receivables; maintain forecast vs actual billing dates.

Role description:
