Job summary

Arcadis in the Philippines is seeking a BI&A Specialist to design and maintain financial and operational dashboards using Power BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and Excel. You will translate requirements into scalable reports for management and leadership, perform ETL, and ensure accuracy of global AP reporting as part of Source-To-Settle initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in BI/Data Analytics, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure with attention

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in BI, Data Analytics, or Reporting work including data visualization and modeling
• Proficient with BI tools such as Power BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and Excel
• Minimum of 3 years in Finance and/or understanding Financial data and processes
• Good understanding of Tech/IT solutions
• Ability to communicate analysis clearly with both technical and financial perspectives
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Effectively gather requirements and communicate to stakeholders on dashboard development, serving as a technical liaison
• Maintain and create dashboards for reporting using BI tools such as Power BI and Oracle Analytics Cloud
• ETL data from various sources for global reporting
• Maintain dashboards in Power BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and Oracle Transaction BI with updates as needed
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and communicate status updates to stakeholders
• Collaborate with senior BI&A Specialists on deliverables
• Consult and implement BI or data analytics solutions
• Create documentation of reports and dashboards per company standards
• Perform related duties as assigned
• Knowledgeable in Accounts Payable processes and global AP reporting (Source-To-Settle)

Role description:

The BI&A Specialist, Business Intelligence & Analytics, is responsible in creating and maintaining financial and business reports or dashboards using different BI tools and providing these to management and leadership teams for operational and tactical decision making, managing risks, and tracking transactional-level items.

Role accountabilities:

• Effectively gather requirements and communicate to stakeholders on dashboard development, serving as a technical liaison
• Maintain and create dashboards for reporting purposes using different BI Tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Oracle Analytics Cloud
• Extract, transform, load (ETL) of data from various sources such as vendors or applications that are used for global reporting
• Maintain existing dashboards within Microsoft Power BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and Oracle Transaction Business Intelligence making modifications and enhancements as needed
• Troubleshoot reporting issues raised by end-users, and communicate status updates and solutions to stakeholders in a timely manner
• Work closely with and support senior BI&A Specialists in the team on deliverables and tasks
• Responsible for the detailed consultation and implementation of the required BI or data analytics solution
• Create documentation of reports and dashboards in accordance with company standards
• Performs such other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
• Knowledgeable in Accounts Payable processes, such as invoice processing, payments, resolution, and expense claims
• Contributes in delivering to key reporting requirements of Global Accounts Payable as part of the Source-To-Settle Program

Qualifications & Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Reporting work including data visualization and modeling
• Proficient with business intelligence or reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Oracle (OAC/ODV), Microsoft Excel, or any equivalent data viz package
• Minimum of 3 years in Finance and/or understanding Financial data and processes
• Good understanding of Tech/Information Technology solutions
• Ability to communicate analysis with clarity and precision. An ideal candidate would have a strong grasp of both technical and financial perspectives.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong and demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills
• Can work under pressure with minimal supervision, is detail-oriented and results-driven
• Good client and stakeholder management skills
