Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented Bartender to join our team. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages according to established recipes and quality standards while providing attentive and professional guest service. The role also involves maintaining bar cleanliness, managing beverage inventory, minimizing product wastage, and ensuring responsible alcohol service at all times.

Job Description:

• Greet and engage with guests in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner.


• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, spirits, beer, and other beverages according to approved recipes, menu specifications, and presentation standards.


• Ensure accuracy and consistency in the taste, quality, portioning, and presentation of all beverages.


• Assist guests with beverage selections by providing appropriate recommendations based on their preferences and needs.


• Promote signature cocktails, beverage specials, premium spirits, and other featured products.


• Respond to guest inquiries and address service concerns promptly, escalating complaints to the Restaurant Supervisor/Manager when necessary.


• Ensure all beverage orders are prepared accurately and served within appropriate service standards.


• Maintain an organized, clean, and properly stocked bar throughout the shift.


• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of the bar area, equipment, glassware, storage areas, and other workstations.


• Ensure the bar operates in accordance with company sanitation, food safety, and health standards.


• Monitor beverage inventory and communicate stock requirements to the appropriate supervisor.


• Assist in proper stock rotation, replenishment, and storage of beverage products and supplies.


• Minimize product loss and beverage wastage through proper handling, portion control, and inventory practices.


• Follow proper procedures for opening, handling, storing, and serving alcoholic beverages.


• Strictly observe company policies regarding responsible alcohol service and the handling of guests showing signs of intoxication.


• Coordinate with the Sommelier, dining team, and restaurant management to maintain efficient beverage service.


• Perform other bar-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Completion of a vocational course or training in Bartending, Food & Beverage Service, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.


• A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field is an advantage.


• Completion of formal Bartending training or equivalent certification is preferred.


• At least 1 year of experience in bartending, beverage service, or a related hospitality position.


• Good knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and other beverage products.


• Strong customer service and communication skills.


• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.


• Willing to work on shifting schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
