Overview
A bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a bar, restaurant, or other hospitality settings. Their typical duties include:
- Preparing Drinks: Mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Experience: Previous experience in bartending or the hospitality industry is often preferred, but on-the-job training is usually provided.
- Knowledge of Alcoholic Beverages: Familiarity with different types of alcoholic drinks, cocktail recipes, and drink preparation techniques.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers, take drink orders, and ensure a positive customer experience.
