Job summary

Easy Buy Inc. is seeking 12 Baristas for its international Japanese store, with a 2-month training period in Manila. Trainees will be housed and then deployed to the Nuvali store after evaluation. Applicants with complete requirements will be prioritized.

Role focuses on coffee and beverage preparation, customer service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of barista experience.
• Knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to undergo 2 months of training in Manila.
• Willing to be deployed to Nuvali store after training.
• Must have complete requirements.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and other menu items according to standards.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, POS systems, and other store equipment.
• Take customer orders, process payments, and provide accurate change/receipts.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of counter, prep area, equipment, dining area, and other areas.
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures.
• Check and maintain adequate stock of coffee, milk, syrups, cups, packaging materials, and other supplies.
• Monitor product quality, freshness, and expiration dates; report discrepancies.
• Follow cash-handling procedures; ensure transactions are recorded.
• Assist in opening/closing procedures including cleaning, preparation, inventory, and securing equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and other menu items according to company standards and recipes

• Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, POS systems, and other store equipment properly

• Take customer orders, process payments, and provide accurate change or receipts

• Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient customer service

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter, preparation area, equipment, dining area, and other assigned areas

• Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times

• Check and maintain adequate stocks of coffee, milk, syrups, cups, packaging materials, and other supplies

• Monitor product quality, freshness, and expiration dates and report any discrepancies to the Store Manager or Supervisor

• Follow proper cash-handling procedures and ensure that all transactions are recorded correctly

• Assist in opening and closing store procedures, including cleaning, preparation, inventory checking, and securing equipment

• Maintain a professional appearance and wear the prescribed uniform, nameplate, and proper personal protective equipment when required

• Follow company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and management instructions

• Prepare and serve coffee and beverages according to company standards.

Note: We are currently hiring 12 Baristas for our international Japanese store.

Please be informed that the training period is 2 months, and you are required to stay in Manila during the entire training period. The company will provide a staff house/accommodation for trainees during these 2 months.

After successfully completing the training and evaluation, you will be deployed to our Nuvali store.
