Job description

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide neck, back, and scalp massages.

Apply lather and shave beards or neck and temple hair contours using razors.

Clean and sterilize scissors, combs, clippers, and other instruments.

Clean work stations and sweep floors after servicing customers.

Cut and trim hair according to clients' instructions or current hairstyles, using clippers, combs, blow dryers, and scissors.

Shape and trim beards and moustaches using scissors.

Stay informed of the latest styles and hair care techniques.

Suggest treatments to address hair problems.

Measure, fit, and groom hairpieces.

Perform services such as color retouch and hair dye upon customer request.

If scheduled for training, attend to improve skills and provide better services.

Follow company processes and policies.

Comply with 5S practices, maintaining a neat and clean branch.

Contribute as part of the team and assist in various tasks; perform other duties as required by immediate supervisor.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• At least 2 years of experience as a hairstylist.
• Experience in medium to large salons with in-house training preferred.
• Willing to be assigned to branches in Bacolod Ayala, Bacolod Robinsons, SM Ormoc, SM Cagayan, Tacloban Robinsons, ICM Tagbilaran.
• Completed technical training.
• Good communication skills.
• Exceptional personality—sociable, friendly, polite—and professional behavior.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Must have initiative and adaptability to change.
• Excellent attention to detail.
