Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing a team of bartenders and bar attendants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel bar, including scheduling staff, inventory management, and operational planning
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all guests receive prompt and attentive service
- Monitor and maintain high standards of product quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Train, mentor, and manage a team of bartenders and bar attendants
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Collaborate with the food and beverage team to create and implement innovative cocktail and menu offerings
- Generate sales reports and contribute to the overall profitability of the bar
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent customer service orientation and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences
- Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, creating a menu and financial reporting
- Thorough knowledge of alcohol, cocktail recipes, and bar operations
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
