Job summary

Good Eats by SSI, a subsidiary of Rustan's Group of Companies, is seeking a skilled Baker for its Bread Ahead brand. The Baker will join our Plant team and oversee large-scale preparation and production of baked goods, ensuring quality and efficiency.

The role requires operating commercial baking equipment, maintaining food safety and cleanliness, and adhering to production schedules. Work location is in person at the plant.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial baking equipment and production machinery safely and efficiently
• Ensure consistency, quality, and freshness of all baked products produced in the commissary/plant
• Follow daily production schedules and meet required output targets
• Monitor ingredient usage and assist in inventory control and stock rotation
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the production area and equipment
• Comply with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations at all times
