Job summary

Business Process Outsourcing International, Inc. is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our engineering team.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support our products and business objectives. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of professional software development experience, strong coding skills in Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go, and a solid understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and REST APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 to 3 years of professional software development experience preferred.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or similar.
• Understanding of software development principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and application integration.
• Experience using Git or other version-control systems.
• Understanding of software testing and debugging practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services.
• Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Translate business and technical requirements into effective software solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues.
• Develop and maintain APIs, databases, and application integrations.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in technical planning, estimation, documentation, and Agile development activities.
• Monitor application performance and contribute to system improvements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously improve technical skills.
