Onelot is seeking a Software Engineer Intern (Backend) to help build the core of our lending platform. You'll work with the engineering team to implement backend features, improve performance, and support production systems used by dealers daily.

This internship is ideal for someone who loves solving technical problems and wants hands-on exposure to scalable systems, with real-world experience shipping reliable software.

Qualifications

• Degree completed in CS, Eng, or related field; internship experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with ability to work remotely.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining backend services.
• Contribute to bug fixes, small features, and code improvements.
• Support monitoring, observability, and performance tooling.
• Help troubleshoot production issues and incident workflows.
