Deel is seeking a Back-End Engineer to enhance performance, security, and reliability of our platform. Build scalable back-end solutions that power front-end features and ensure smooth data flow.

Collaborate with frontend, product and QA teams across the SDLC, develop APIs, fix bugs quickly, and deliver high-quality services for millions of users. This role emphasizes security, cost efficiency, and robust operations.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Expert knowledge of Node.js and at least one other server side language.
• You’re an expert in JavaScript syntax.
• Database guru with SQL and NoSQL, PostgreSQL and ORM libraries.

Responsibilities

• Work with Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers and QA to create seamless experiences.
• From discovery to deployment, contribute across the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Collaborate to develop new features and APIs; fix bugs at Deel Speed.
• Ensure high quality engineering and customer-focused development.
