Job summary

Apex Group in Makati, Philippines, is seeking a Mid/Senior Backend Engineer to build and enhance .NET Core backend services. You will design data-heavy workflows with C#, Dapper, and SQL, develop secure APIs, and implement async processing with messaging systems.

You will also write unit tests (xUnit/NUnit), participate in agile ceremonies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. This role not remote and requires on-site presence in Makati.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience in C# and the .NET ecosystem (Core LTS).
• Experience designing data-heavy backends with SQL, Dapper, and API development.
• Proficiency with unit testing frameworks (xUnit/NUnit).
• Exposure to queueing/messaging for asynchronous processing.
• Experience in Scrum or Kanban and agile delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance .NET Core backend services in production.
• Design data-heavy workflows using C#, Dapper, and SQL.
• Develop APIs prioritising performance, data integrity, and security.
• Work with queueing/messaging technologies for async processing.
• Write unit tests and contribute to code quality; participate in code reviews and sprint delivery.
