Job summary

Pacifica Blue Holdings Corp. is building its founding software team in Makati CBD. You will own backend service modules, design APIs, model data, and ensure reliability while supporting teammates as the team grows.

Based in Makati, this role offers a fixed day shift with direct mentorship from Taiwan engineers, AI-assisted coding tools, and opportunities to contribute to our membership management and back-office platforms from day one.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Express or Next.js API routes, and TypeScript.
• Experience with MySQL or MS SQL; Redis is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and Git.
• Able to design and own a service module (API, data modeling, and error handling).
• Able to debug independently across API → database → logs.
• Experience participating in code reviews.
• Proficient with AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong written English for async collaboration with Taiwan HQ.
• GitHub profile (or code samples) required with application.
