Job summary

Brixio Singapore is seeking a seasoned Back End Symfony Developer to work remotely from the Philippines. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of PHP experience with a focus on Symfony, MVC, and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities include designing features, writing clean code, optimizing performance, and collaborating with front-end developers and product managers. A strong English command and familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in PHP, with at least 3 years in Symfony.
• Understanding of MVC design patterns.
• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Symfony 5 PHP Framework.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Proficiency with version control tools, preferably Git.
• Strong knowledge of common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of session management in distributed environments.
• Experience in integrating multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Ability to write clear, concise code following best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
