Job summary

ConnectOS in Metro Manila, Philippines is seeking a backend engineer with strong experience in building scalable services using C#/.NET or Python. You will design cloud-native platforms on Azure, integrate AI/ML into production, and ensure robust data flows across lakehouse stacks.

The role emphasizes non-functional quality, observability, and collaboration in agile teams. Hybrid work arrangement with onsite days at Mega Tower, EDSA, Manila.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building scalable back-end services (microservices, REST APIs) in C#/.NET or Python.
• Designing and operating Azure cloud-native platforms with CI/CD and IaC.
• Experience integrating AI/ML into production using Azure OpenAI and API calls.
• Data integration across lakehouse stacks using Delta tables, Databricks, and Kafka.
• Design robust service layers between AI agents and data/back-end systems.
• Focus on performance, scalability, and observability with monitoring tools.
• Experience in agile, product-centric teams with PR reviews.
• Commitment to testing and secure coding.
