Capgemini Philippines Corp. is seeking an Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) & Endpoint Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade virtual desktop, endpoint, and storage solutions in Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Strong AVD deployment/administration experience.
• Hands-on with Azure VMs, Compute Gallery, and storage services.
• Experience with Nerdio Manager for Enterprise and auto-scaling/healing.
• Proficiency in Intune and FSLogix for profiles and Office integration.
• Certifications such as AZ-104/305/140 and md-102 are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AVD host pools, session hosts, and app groups; configure golden images via Compute Gallery.
• Implement and maintain auto-scaling and auto-healing policies with NME for cost optimization and high availability.
• Provision, monitor, and optimize Azure VMs for scalability and performance requirements.
• Configure and manage FSLogix profile containers with Office integration.
• Administer Azure Files and Azure NetApp Files; implement snapshots and DR configurations.
• Leverage Intune for policy management, Autopilot provisioning, and compliance baselines.
• Support Windows 10/11, GPO-to-Intune migration, security hardening in hybrid environments.
• Automate deployments with PowerShell, Bicep, Terraform; troubleshoot across VDI, profiles, Intune, and storage.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, EUC teams; produce runbooks and clear documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD): Design, deploy, and manage AVD host pools, session hosts, and application groups. Configure and maintain golden images using Azure Compute Gallery.
• Nerdio Manager for Enterprise (NME): Implement and maintain auto-scaling and auto-healing policies for cost optimization and high availability. Manage access, RBAC, and integration with Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Azure Virtual Machines (VMs): Provision, monitor, and optimize Azure VMs for scalability and resiliency. Ensure alignment with workload requirements and performance baselines.
• Profile & User Data Management: Configure and manage FSLogix profile containers, including Office containers and Cloud Cache, ensuring optimal performance and minimal login times.
• Storage Solutions: Administer Azure Files and Azure NetApp Files for user profiles, application data, and enterprise workloads. Implement performance tuning, snapshots, and DR configurations.
• Device & Endpoint Management: Leverage Microsoft Intune to manage policies, compliance baselines, app deployment, and Autopilot provisioning for virtual and physical devices.
• Windows OS & Enterprise Integration: Support Windows 10/11 environments, GPO-to-Intune migration, and ensure security hardening and patch compliance across hybrid environments.
• Automation & Troubleshooting: Use PowerShell/Bicep/Terraform to automate deployments, scaling policies, and image updates. Troubleshoot incidents across VDI, profiles, Intune, and storage layers.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with Infrastructure, Security, and EUC teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements. Produce clear documentation and runbooks for support and operations.

Required Skills & Experience

Core

• Strong experience in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployment and administration.
• Hands-on with Azure Virtual Machines (compute, networking, backup).
• Working knowledge of Azure Compute Gallery for image lifecycle management.
• Experience with Nerdio Manager for Enterprise (NME) (or deep AVD experience with willingness to upskill).
• Expertise in NME Auto-Scaling and Auto-Healing configurations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM, Autopilot, compliance policies).
• Administration of FSLogix Profile Containers with Office 365 integration.
• Storage administration with Azure Files and/or Azure NetApp Files.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11) enterprise configuration.

Preferred/Desirable

• Certifications: AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-140, MD-102, Nerdio certifications.
• PowerShell scripting, Bicep, or Terraform automation.
• Experience in enterprise/BPO/MSP environments with 24x7 support exposure.
• Understanding of Conditional Access, Entra ID, and hybrid identity.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across VDI, profiles, networking, and storage.

Education & Qualifications

• Relevant Microsoft or Nerdio certifications highly desirable
