Job summary

Synpulse Philippines Inc. is actively expanding its core-banking technology team to implement Avaloq core banking projects with the latest tools and modern practices.

The role covers software development, analysis, solution design, and testing, along with implementing new functionality and maintaining existing features. You will deliver complex solutions, work end-to-end with stakeholders, and ensure deliverables meet estimates, cost and quality.

Qualifications

• Avaloq working experience required.
• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of at least one higher programming language and OO concepts.
• Advanced knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PL/SQL).
• Experience with web-oriented technologies (JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS) is an advantage.
• AngularJS experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Software development, analysis, solution design and testing.
• Implementation of new functionality and maintenance of existing features.
• Delivery of complex solutions with adherence to guidelines and standards.
• End-to-end project lifecycle involvement and collaboration with stakeholders.

About The Job

• Development based on guidelines and standards.
• Close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure fit-for-purpose end-to-end functionality.
• Ensure that deliverables are within the work effort estimate, cost and with quality.
• Participate in end-to-end project lifecycle.
• Work closely with team members.
• Support team members with other project activities.
• Support Synpulse growth in software development through initiatives, tools, development and process improvement.
• Support project proposals and initiatives.
• Support the success of a work stream by ensuring high quality deliverables and timely submission.

Job Requirements

About you:

• At least 2 years of Avaloq working experience
• Degree holder in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Advanced knowledge of at least one higher programming language and object-oriented concepts
• Advanced knowledge of relational database systems (Oracle, PL/SQL)
• Experience with web-oriented technologies is an advantage (JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS)
• Experience with Angular JS is an advantage
• Analytical, structured, and efficient way of working
• Interested in banking and financial industry
• Can fluently speak and write in English
• Entrepreneurial spirit
