Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 4–6 years of hands-on experience in programming or software development in enterprise or financial services
• Proficient in Oracle databases and PL/SQL; familiarity with other relational database systems is a plus
• Solid understanding of software development principles, best practices, and SDLC
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and resolve complex issues
• Demonstrated experience leading development efforts, mentoring, and engaging with stakeholders; strong communication skills; English proficiency; Avaloq certification is desirable

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Avaloq scripts (PL/SQL-based) for core banking functionalities
• Lead parameterization efforts to align Avaloq solutions with client requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions
• Oversee development lifecycle phases including analysis, design, implementation, and unit testing
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers
• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to Avaloq best practices
