Qualifications

• Relevant experience as Automotive Mechanic, Auto Technician, Vehicle Inspector, or similar role.
• Knowledgeable in automotive repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
• Experience in vehicle inspection and vehicle condition assessment.
• Experienced in using vehicle inspection checklists and audit forms.
• Knowledgeable in identifying mechanical defects, damages, and safety concerns.
• Able to distinguish normal wear and tear from accidental or improper-use damage.
• Knowledge of basic root cause analysis and report preparation.
• Knowledgeable in MS Office/functions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections and condition assessments.
• Inspect engine, brakes, tires, suspension, steering, lights, fluids, and other major components.
• Identify dents, scratches, cracks, leaks, mechanical abnormalities, and safety concerns.
• Assess and document vehicle damages.
• Determine normal wear and tear versus accidental or improper-use damage.
• Use vehicle inspection checklists and audit forms during inspections.
• Identify risks, errors, irregularities, and potential compliance issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis for identified vehicle concerns.
• Prepare vehicle audit and inspection reports with findings and recommendations.
• Coordinate with Operations, Admin, Audit, and other concerned departments.
