Job summary

Rising Tide Digital, Inc. is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI, API, and integration testing. The role emphasizes UiPath-based automation to improve efficiency and coverage, plus building scalable test frameworks and CI/CD integration.

You will work with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure quality across releases, performing data-driven testing, API checks, and thorough defect analysis while staying aligned with Agile practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least 2–3 years of professional experience in Automation Testing, Software Testing, or Quality Assurance.
Hands-on experience with UiPath, particularly in test automation or automating repetitive testing activities.
Experience designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts.
Experience with automation testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium/WebDriver, or similar tools is an advantage.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or C#.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes, including test planning, regression, smoke, sanity, data-driven, risk-based, and root-cause analysis.
Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
Understanding of CI/CD concepts and test automation integration using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint-based development environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve automation and QA practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
Utilize UiPath to automate manual test cases and improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Develop and execute automated test scripts based on defined test scenarios, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Build and enhance test automation frameworks with a focus on reusability, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects, failures, and potential root causes.
Conduct regression, smoke, sanity, and data-driven testing to ensure application stability across releases.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive and manual testing activities and recommend appropriate automation solutions.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders during requirements review, sprint planning, test execution, and defect resolution.
Track, document, and report test results, defects, test coverage, and other relevant quality metrics.
Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and guidelines in test automation and software quality assurance.
Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and provide technical guidance to the internal QA team on automation tools, frameworks, and best practices.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, test strategies, test design, and automation practices.
Stay adaptable to changes in application requirements, testing approaches, tools, and technologies.
