Job summary

Ascendion is seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our team in Manila, onsite at BGC, Taguig. The role focuses on automating mobile and web apps using Appium and Selenium, with Java as the preferred language and Python as an alternative.

You will develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks, conduct mobile testing across Android and iOS, and work in an Agile/Scrum environment with mid-level to senior candidates welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mobile and web automation.
• Strong expertise in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Experience with Appium and Selenium WebDriver in real projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Appium and Selenium.
• Perform mobile application testing across Android and iOS platforms.
• Create automated test cases using Java or Python.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects and provide detailed technical findings.
• Troubleshoot automation failures and investigate issues affecting test execution.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure application quality.
• Maintain and improve existing automation scripts and testing frameworks.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA and automation processes.
