Job summary

VA Masters is seeking a mid-to-senior Developer & Automation Expert with hands-on mastery of n8n to map out, build, and own end-to-end automations and data workflows across our business. This is a mid-to-senior post for a genuine developer and automations expert who brings solid software architecture footing, ease across several databases, and a disciplined habit around documentation.

The right person assumes complete ownership of automation projects from concept through to deployment and comes

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on software development.
• Solid software architecture footing.
• Experience with multiple databases (e.g., SQL, MongoDB, Supabase).
• Proven track record building automations with n8n.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and processes.
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong data engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to turn out clear, detailed technical documentation.
• Dependable, precise, and self-sufficient with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Own automation projects from planning through deployment and upkeep.
• Wire together tools across our stack, Supabase, Airtable, and GreenAPI included.
• Map out, build, and maintain end-to-end automation workflows in n8n.
• Architect and administer databases.
• Take on data engineering tasks and ensure data moves reliably across systems.
• Set down clear, thorough documentation for every development and workflow.
• Bring CI/CD best practices to deployment and release processes.
• Work with Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Diagnose, fine-tune, and keep improving existing automations and data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own automation projects A to Z — from planning through to deployment and ongoing upkeep

• Wire together tools across our stack, Supabase, Airtable, and GreenAPI included

• Map out, build, and maintain end-to-end automation workflows in n8n

• Architect and administer databases

• Take on data engineering tasks and see that data moves cleanly and reliably across systems

• Set down clear, thorough documentation for every development and workflow

• Bring CI/CD best practices to deployment and release processes

• Work with Git for version control and collaborative development

• Diagnose, fine-tune, and keep bettering existing automations and data pipelines

Mandatory Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on software development behind you

• Solid software architecture footing
