Job summary

Wabtec Bengaluru seeks a skilled Test Engineer to join the QA team. You will conduct manual and automated testing on software apps to ensure efficiency and reliability, developing and updating automation scripts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing experience as a Test Engineer (<=3 years).
• Experience in Manual/Black Box testing.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking.
• Knowledge of testing techniques (BVA, equivalence partitioning, pair testing).
• Familiarity with V&V, Agile, Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update scripts to automate testing processes.
• Identify, analyze, and document test results meticulously.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop testing strategies.
• Understand business requirements and technical aspects of testing.

• Confirm and validate identified defects.
