Job summary

New World Rubber Corporation in Cavite is seeking a hands-on PLC technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain automation equipment. You will work with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Omron PLCs, read wiring diagrams, and support safe, reliable machine operation across rotating shifts.

The role requires a technical diploma in mechatronics or a related field and 2–3 years in manufacturing with PLC-driven systems.

Qualifications

Diploma or certificate in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
2–3 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably with PLC automated machines.
Experience reading electrical/PLC diagrams and manuals.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain PLC control systems and electrical equipment
Troubleshoot PLC programs, electrical circuits, sensors, and machine controls
Perform preventive maintenance on PLCs, control panels, and automation equipment
Monitor machine performance and respond to equipment breakdowns
Modify and update PLC programs when required
Test inputs, outputs, sensors, relays, and other control components
Read and interpret electrical and PLC wiring diagrams
Assist with machine installation, commissioning, and system upgrades
Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting activities
Coordinate with engineers, maintenance personnel, and production teams to resolve equipment issues
