Job summary

HRTX is seeking a Workload Automation Engineer to design, implement and maintain automated job scheduling across on-premises and cloud environments. You will support monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of automation tools to ensure reliable business processes in a hybrid IT landscape.

Key duties include translating business needs into automation, collaborating with DevOps and developers, and applying Linux/Unix, Windows, and scripting knowledge to improve job reliability and SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Ability to script in Python and Shell to support automation.
• Familiarity with workload automation tools and APIs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service orientation with empathy to understand stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support scheduling operations across platforms and services.
• Maintain and troubleshoot automation tools and job schedules.
• Review logs and optimize job flows to meet SLAs.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, and software teams.
• Apply scripting and API skills to automate workflows.
• Assist in incident response and on-call rotations.
