Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Developer II Intelligent Automation in Mandaluyong, Philippines to drive automation initiatives across functions using Power Platform and related tools. You will surface automation opportunities, backlogs, and ensure timely delivery with cross-functional teams.

You will design, develop, and deploy automated solutions, troubleshoot major defects, and mentor junior developers while adopting SDLC practices such as Agile or SAFe in a collaborative environment that values

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or similar.
3-4 years of relevant work experience in the software development field, tools, and process automation.
Proficient in automation tools and platforms (e.g., Power Platform - PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomate), including Office 365 applications (Flow, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams).
Deep knowledge of Integrated Administrative and Productivity Tools.
Hands-on troubleshooting and response experience.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Responsibilities

Leverage Microsoft Power Platform and other tools, including but not limited to Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Dataflows, and RPA tools.
Work on project-based assignments in small and large teams to deliver automated processes.
Design, develop, and implement custom solutions for the automation of existing or new processes.
Implement the full life cycle of an automation solution: identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using advanced automation tools.
Troubleshoot and fix major bugs/defects and assist junior developers in making sure issues/requests are resolved appropriately and on time.
Introduce and test new technologies to continuously improve the technical capabilities of the team relating to automation tools.
Work closely with the production support team to deploy into production, complete required documentation, including lessons learned, and implement knowledge transfer.
