Job summary

AMTRAK MACHINERIES & EQUIPMENT OPC in Meycauayan, Bulacan is seeking an Auto Electrician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems on trucks, heavy equipment, and machinery.

You will install and replace electrical components, perform testing with diagnostic tools, support mechanics, and ensure safe, reliable operation while keeping work areas organized.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate with vocational/technical training in Automotive electrical/automotive technology or related field.
• Experience as Auto Electrician or similar position preferred.
• Knowledgeable in automotive electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Able to use basic electrical testing and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems in trucks, heavy equipment, and machinery.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain wiring, batteries, alternators, starters, lights, switches, and other electrical components.
• Perform installation and replacement of electrical parts and components.
• Conduct electrical testing using diagnostic equipment.
• Check and repair lighting systems, gauges, sensors, and other electrical accessories.
• Inspect wiring and connections for damage, loose connections, or short circuits.
• Assist mechanics and technicians during major repair and maintenance activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and electrical system inspections.

AUTO ELECTRICIAN – JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

• Responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems of trucks, heavy equipment, and machinery.

• Ensures that all electrical components and systems are functioning properly and safely.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems in trucks, heavy equipment, and machinery.

• Inspect, repair, and maintain wiring, batteries, alternators, starters, lights, switches, and other electrical components.

• Perform installation and replacement of electrical parts and components.

• Conduct electrical testing using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.

• Check and repair lighting systems, gauges, sensors, and other electrical accessories.

• Inspect electrical wiring and connections for damage, loose connections, or short circuits.

• Assist mechanics and technicians during major repair and maintenance activities.

• Perform preventive maintenance and electrical system inspections.

• Ensure proper installation and connection of electrical components.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of tools and work areas.

• Follow company safety procedures and proper handling of tools and equipment.

• Report major electrical issues, defective parts, and repair requirements to the immediate supervisor.

• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate, preferably with vocational or technical training in Automotive Electrical, Automotive Technology, or a related field.

• With experience as an Auto Electrician, Automotive Electrician, or similar position is preferred.

• Knowledgeable in automotive electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.

• Able to use basic electrical testing and diagnostic tools.

• Experience working with trucks, heavy equipment, or diesel-powered machinery is an advantage.

• Physically fit and willing to perform hands-on repair and maintenance work.

• Hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented.

• Willing to work on-site and perform other duties as required by the company.
