Job summary

MicroSourcing seeks an experienced Australian Paraplanner to support Australian Financial Advisers by preparing high quality, compliant advice documents and conducting financial strategy research. This role suits someone who values accuracy, welcomes feedback, and delivers professional work across a range of financial planning strategies.

Ideal candidates will have expertise in ROA/SOA preparation, regulatory knowledge, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing compliant ROAs and SOAs.
• Strong understanding of Australian financial planning process and regulatory requirements.
• Experience preparing advice for investment, superannuation, and insurance strategies.
• Knowledge of Australian superannuation, investments, and retirement planning concepts.
• Experience conducting financial product and strategy research for adviser recommendations.
• Excellent written English communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple advice files and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Australian planning software (Xplan/AdviserLogic/Midwinter) is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ROAs, SOAs, and supporting advice documentation.
• Draft advice for investment and superannuation strategies and rollovers.
• Conduct financial product and strategy research to support recommendations.
• Review client information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with Financial Advisers to clarify strategies and requirements.
• Maintain accurate client records in financial planning systems.
• Ensure documents meet Australian regulatory standards before submission.
• Manage multiple files and meet turnaround times and service standards.
• Apply feedback to improve technical knowledge and advice quality.
• Contribute to process improvements and support a collaborative team environment.
