Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and technically strongAudit Seniorwith3–4+ years of Audit Senior experienceand a strong interest inArtificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and emerging audit technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion.
- Develop audit strategies based on risk assessment and business understanding.
- Perform and review audit procedures, including substantive testing, controls testing, analytical procedures, and financial statement analysis.
- Prepare and review audit working papers and ensure appropriate documentation and audit evidence.
- Identify significant risks, unusual transactions, control deficiencies, and potential areas of financial misstatement.
- Supervise, coach, and review the work of junior auditors and audit associates.
- Communicate audit findings, risks, and recommendations to managers and clients.
- Assist with preparation and review of financial statements and related disclosures.
- Ensure audits are performed in accordance with applicable SSA applicables and other relevant auditing standards, as applicable.
AI & Technology Skills
The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of how AI can be applied within audit and accounting environments, including:
- Keen interest or experience usingGenerative AI toolssuch as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms for professional/audit-related tasks.
- Understanding of AI applications inaudit planning, risk assessment, data analysis, audit documentation, and financial statement review.
- Experience with audit analytics or data-analysis tools such asPower BI, Excel, Alteryx, IDEA, ACL, or similar platforms.
- Ability to identify opportunities to automate repetitive audit procedures.
- Understanding of AI risks, includingdata privacy, model reliability, hallucinations, bias, and the need for human review and professional judgment.
- Ability to use AI responsibly while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's or Master's degree inAccounting, or a related field.
- 3–4+ years of experience specifically in an Audit Senior roleor equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of auditing and accounting principles and standards.
- Experience managing audit engagements and supervising junior team members.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with audit software and Microsoft Office, particularlyExcel.
- Demonstrated interest or experience inAI, automation, data analytics, or audit technology.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to exercise professional skepticism and judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience withAI-enabled audit platforms or intelligent automation solutions.
- Experience working with large datasets and performing data-driven audit procedures.
- Experience in mid-tier accounting firms, or a large corporate/internal audit environment.
