Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent recognised by ISCA.
• Experience: Associate 1 year; Senior Associate 3 years in external audit.
• Solid knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
• Strong communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Are you a detail-oriented and driven audit professional looking to take the next step in your career? Join our fast-growing audit team as an experienced Associate or Senior Associate, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and develop audit strategies, perform risk assessment, and design audit procedures. Collaborate with the client to understand their business.

• Conduct fieldwork, gather and analyse financial data, verify transactions, identify discrepancies, and assess compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

• Prepare audit documentation, findings, and recommendations. Review financial statements in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework.

• Monitor project timelines and budgets, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.

• Other tasks as assigned.

For the Senior Associate role, in addition to the above:

• Supervise and mentor junior auditors, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring timely completion of assignments.

• Review group consolidation worksheets and supporting financial statement notes.

• Coordinate with component auditors for group audits, ensuring seamless collaboration.

Qualifications, experience and attributes

- Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification recognised by ISCA.

- Experience: For the Associate role, at least 1 year of relevant external audit experience is required. For the Senior Associate role, at least 3 years of relevant external audit experience is required.

- Skills and attributes:

• Sound technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and audit software applications.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple engagements and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
