Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of audit engagements for smaller, non-complex entities (planning, fieldwork, reporting).
• Assist seniors and managers on larger, complex clients (risk assessment, testing, substantive testing).
• Prepare documentation, identify issues, and support resolution of audit findings.
• Understand clients’ business environments and maintain client relationships.
• Ensure work aligns with standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of audit engagements for smaller, non-complex entities, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases.
• Assist seniors and managers in performing audit procedures for larger and more complex clients, including risk assessment, testing of controls, and substantive testing.
• Contribute to high-quality audit work by preparing documentation, identifying issues, and supporting resolution of audit findings.
• Develop an understanding of clients’ business environments and support the maintenance of effective client relationships.
• Ensure audit work is completed in line with professional standards, firm policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support the adoption of audit methodologies, tools, and best practices to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in training and professional development to build technical skills and progress towards more complex audit responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years (3 busy season) experience required
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or similar qualification preferred); at minimum, graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy with progress towards a professional qualification.
• Strong technical knowledge
• Strong experience in audit engagements
• Experience in a top 20 practice
• Worked with a diverse portfolio of clients
• Capable of working on your own initiative
