Job summary

TOA Global in the Philippines is seeking an analytical Reliever: Audit Data Analyst to support audit data acquisition, data manipulation, and advanced financial analytics for external engagements.

The role includes formatting client files, testing internal controls, and exploring tools like Alteryx, PowerBI, and SQL. A Master’s degree and strong Excel skills are required, with onsite work at Cebu, Clark, Manila, or Tarlac.

Qualifications

• Education & Academic Record: Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Accounting, Information Systems, or Business Administration with a strong cumulative GPA.
• Advanced Excel & Analytics: Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel (complex functions, data modeling, automation) and a solid foundation in data manipulation methodologies.
• Database & Tool Experience: Working knowledge of relational database management systems like SQL Server and MS Access. Exposure to analytics/visualization tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI, IDEA, ACL, Python, or R - is a distinct advantage.
• Audit & Business Acumen: Fundamental understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and internal control structures within a public practice or consulting environment.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional problem-solving ability, self-directed work ethic, strong written/verbal English communication, professional presence, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and refine data analytics models for external audit procedures.
• Acquire, clean, and format complex client data to enable analytical testing.
• Perform external audit procedures on financial statements and internal control testing.
• Research, pilot, and deploy new data tools to streamline audits.
• Coordinate with team and clients to gather data and track billable hours.
