Job summary

Candy Corner Philippines is seeking a Junior Auditor to assist in financial, operational, and compliance audits across retail stores, warehouse operations, and head office functions. Under the supervision of the Senior Auditor, you will perform fieldwork, inspect transactions, verify cash deposits, and support inventory counts and stock movement reviews.

Responsibilities

• Support audit fieldwork and follow the approved plan.
• Inspect, observe, and verify transactions and records.
• Participate in store visits and branch audits as scheduled.
• Verify cash collections, petty cash, and bank deposits.
• Review accounting records and report discrepancies.
• Perform inventory counts and verify stock movements.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and SOPs; report non-compliance.
• Prepare and organize audit working papers and evidence for review.
• Draft audit observations and findings for Senior Auditor.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow-up audits.
• Handle data encoding and document retrieval related to audits.
• Coordinate with store personnel during audit activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of all audit information.
