Qualifications

As a Mortgage Broker Assistant, you will support mortgage brokers by preparing loan applications, coordinating with lenders, managing client communications, and maintaining accurate records. The Qualifications We Seek

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mortgage broking, banking, finance, or a related field
  • Australian mortgage experience with a strong understanding of local lending processes and compliance standards
  • Hands-on experience using ApplyOnline
  • Proficient in mortgage software such as Mercury and Podium
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Your Daily Tasks

  • Assist mortgage brokers in preparing and submitting loan applications to lenders
  • Gather and verify client documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Liaise with banks, lenders, and clients to track loan progress and resolve issues
  • Conduct initial research on loan products and assist in structuring loan solutions
  • Maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process
  • Schedule appointments, manage emails, and handle administrative tasks
