Job summary

OceanaGold Philippines Exploration is seeking a qualified Exploration Geologist (Mindanao-Based Fixed Term) to support and lead mineral exploration for Au-Cu deposits. The role reports to the Senior Geologist – Exploration and involves mapping, sampling, diamond drilling oversight, and data management across field programs.

The candidate should have 5+ years in mineral exploration, a valid geologist license, and GIS proficiency. On-site work with accommodation and travel provisions is provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed Geologist with 5+ years of mineral exploration experience.
• Experience in geological mapping, geochemistry, sampling, and logging.
• Proficient in GIS and data management for exploration projects.

Responsibilities

• Support mineral exploration and drilling activities.
• Conduct field mapping, sampling, and cross-section preparation.
• Document drilling activities and data accurately.
• Prepare geological maps and visualizations for resource assessment.
