Offshore 247 Outsourcing OPC is seeking a remote bookkeeping assistant for an Australian accounting practice. The role starts at 10 hours per week, with a flexible Australian business day schedule and potential growth to 20 hours as workload expands.
You will manage debtor lists, creditor reports, disbursement allocation, and payroll support, plus month-end tasks and Directors’ travel arrangements. Clear English and reliable internet are essential.
Ten hours a week, from home, on a steady long term seat with an established Australian accounting and financial planning practice. Not their client files. Their own books.
You will produce the debtor list and the creditor reports the Directors rely on, allocate disbursements across the practice's jobs, support the fortnightly payroll run and pick up month end from the first working day of each month. You will also book the Directors' travel and accommodation as it comes up.
The practice has an office manager who has simply run out of hours. You are not replacing her. You are taking the finance half of her job so it gets done properly rather than last. That means you will be shown the practice's way of doing things once and then left to run it.
The hours are flexible inside the Australian business day and the days are set with you a couple of weeks ahead, so the role fits around other commitments rather than replacing them. The practice expects it to grow toward twenty hours a week as more work moves across, and the additional hours are paid as they are worked.
